Scott Reed, 3rd Dan Aikikai

Scott Reed began his aikido training with Laurent Haquin (3rd Dan Aikikai) in Edinburgh. He has spent extensive periods of time in Paris, training with Jacques Bardet (6th Dan FFAB), a senior student of Tamura Shihan (8th Dan Aikikai). During this time he also attended seminars with Tamura Shihan and Toshiro Suga (7th Dan FFAB). Both Toshiro Suga and Jacques Bardet regularly give seminars in Edinburgh.

Scott received his aikikai dan grades from Tamura Sensei, 8th Dan. He regularly re-visits France to train with Jacques Bardet and continues to attend seminars with Tamura Shihan and Toshiro Suga.

He began teaching in 2004.
