Scott Reed, 4th Dan Aikikai

Scott Reed began his aikido training with Laurent Haquin (3rd Dan Aikikai) in Edinburgh. He regularly trains in Paris with Jacques Bardet (6th Dan Aikikai) and Toshiro Suga (6th Dan Aikikai) both senior students of Tamura Sensei (8th Dan Aikikai). He has also previously spent 6 months in Paris training full-time in Aikido. Scott regularly attended seminars with Tamura Sensei until Sensei's passing in July 2010. Both Toshiro Suga and Jacques Bardet give annual seminars in Edinburgh.

Scott received his Shodan, Nidan and Sandan from Tamura Sensei. In July 2011, Scott was awarded Yondan Aikikai by Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei, 8th Dan.

He began teaching in 2004.
