Welcome to the Edinburgh Aikido Club

Classes at the Edinburgh Aikido Club are taught by Scott Reed, 4th Dan Aikikai.

The Edinburgh Aikido Club follows the technical direction of Tamura Sensei, 8th Dan Aikikai, who sadly passed away in July 2010. The club trains under the direct guidance of several senior instructors from the French FFAB federation, most notably Jacques Bardet (6th Dan Aikikai) and Toshiro Suga (6th Dan Aikikai). Both of these teachers trained under Tamura Sensei for over 30 years.

RECENT NEWS

CONGRATULATIONS! : It is with great pleasure that we can announce that the following Aikikai dan grades were awarded by Yamada Shihan, 8th Dan Aikikai, at the French FFAB 2011 Summer School: Scott Reed (4th Dan Aikikai), Lawrie Anderson (3rd Dan Aikikai), Desmond Welsh (3rd Dan Aikikai).

All classes are held at the Eric Liddell Centre in Morningside, Edinburgh.

Mondays 6.30 - 8pm All Levels

Monday 8 - 9pm Weapons class

Wednesday 6.30 - 8pm All Levels

Wednesday 8 - 9pm Beginners class

Class Cost Options

£5 per class
£35 a month, 2 classes per week
£45 a month, 3 classes per week
£55 a month, 4 classes per week
